AeroShield is proud to announce that Aaron Baskerville-Bridges has accepted the title of Co-Founder. Aaron joined AeroShield in June 2020 as VP Operations after completing his SM in Chemical Engineering & MBA as part of MIT Leaders for Global Operations Program. Prior to MIT, Aaron was a consultant at BCG, where he supported operational improvement projects, supply chain optimization, and private equity due diligence work.
Inspired by AeroShield’s potential to reduce energy use and emissions, Aaron first got involved with AeroShield in 2018 through MIT’s Energy & Climate Ventures class. “When I saw Elise pitch, it was obvious to me: if we can make this work, windows will just be better” says Aaron “I was really excited to work with something tangible, and after spending 8 years in Calgary I can attest to the need for thermally insulating windows”.
Since joining AeroShield Aaron has helped lead a number of important initiatives, including AeroShield’s involvement in the American Made Solar Prize (in which AeroShield won $800k, more on that next issue!), fundraising, and market discovery. Outside of work, Aaron’s hobbies include anything active: he’s a big hiker, biker, skier, and recently took up climbing.
