AeroShield turned 3 years old...and we celebrated with a 3rd Birthday Party theme! We had hats, cotton candy, a pinata, and a pin the frame on the aerogel. It was great to see our team and their families out to celebrate this milestone with us!
This celebration was more than just a party though. It takes a lot to build a hardtech company, and even more to tackle the major climate challenges of building energy efficiency, improved solar thermal energy, and more insulating glass. Like a 3-year-old, AeroShield is still growing, learning new things every day, and thinking about all the ways we can make a positive impact in the world when we grow up.
Amid all that, it's important to have some fun and recognize everyone who helped make it happen. This celebration is for our team - those who have been here since the start, those who just joined us, and those who interned and went on to other adventures. It's a time to thank our advisors, investors, supporters, and industry connections. And it's also a time to highlight that we are looking for more people to join this amazing team as we try and reduce global CO2 emissions by over a gigaton.
